GMV worked with Event Transportation Associates to provide dispatch software and real-time passenger information to the Democratic National Convention.
We helped implement a temporary transit system capable of moving people from hotels scattered around Philadelphia and the surrounding region to various convention sites for the Democratic National Convention. ETA had the role of transit agency in this case, and we supported them with GPS hardware, dispatch software, and a real-time rider information website.
The transportation system for the DNC was made up of 400 buses that were lent by local transit agencies and used just for the week of the event. The GMV team installed all hardware in 48 hours and contributed to the successful operation of the event.
